WELCOME TO MORNINGTON BASKETBALL
Mornington Basketball is home to over 300 teams for players aged between 5 and 65 of all skill levels.
We have a large Domestic Competition playing weekly games against each other at our Mornington stadiums. This is a graded competition for players of all ages and skill levels and runs during the 4 school terms.
Our Representative Competition (Breakers) has approximately 30 teams that play weekly games against other Associations across greater Melbourne. Players must participate in the try-out process to join a Breakers team.
If you've never played before, we have a range of development programs to get you started in the game. These will help you or your child learn the foundations of basketball as well as help you meet other new players. If you have played before, we have programs that can help support your development as a player at any level.

HOW TO JOIN A TEAM
- IF YOU WANT TO JOIN AN EXISTING TEAM:
If you would like to join a team, your first point of contact would be one of the clubs that sit under our umbrella, you can find their details here.
- IF YOU CAN'T FIND A TEAM:
If you can't find a team, you can submit your details to our Team/Connect page on this website so teams can contact you directly if they need players. In addition, it helps to speak to people you meet at our development programs or ask around your school and local community to see if there are any teams looking for players or other people wanting to put together a team.
- IF YOU HAVE PUT TOGETHER A TEAM:
If you have put together your own team, you can register them directly with us by visiting our Team Registration page.
